Your Travel Planners
During Expo ’86 Linda was in charge of “Bed and Breakfast for Langley and Jim worked as a volunteer greeter at Expo. Meeting guests from all over the world, gave us the encouragement to get involved in the travel industry.
Our 23 years of experience as travel planners and tour escorting, gives us a good grounding for the people we call our friends and travel clients.
We find great satisfaction in arranging unforgettable trips for our clients.
Despite the fact that people can attempt to plan their trips online, many people still prefer to plan their dream trip in person with an experienced professional.
We offer many different services, such as simply reserving tickets for clients or forming a trip plan for a small group of up to 20 people. The latter is much more challenging but we enjoy it just as much as everything else we do. As a bonus, 4 times a year we go along with one of our groups as tour escorts on a trip planned with our personal clients.
Tour guides and tour escorts have different jobs; Guides literally guide the way and merely show the group certain sites, while an escort interacts with the group and helps them should they need assistance, while remaining with the group at all times.
Limiting groups to 20 people gives us the opportunity to get to know everyone extremely well so that we can offer the best possible service during the trip. This means we have a high number of returning clients. In fact, some travel with us so frequently and are on such an intimate basis that they have planned to make their final tour with us when they reach the age when they can no longer travel easily.
Planning and personalizing any type and size of trip we always go the extra mile to ensure that it will be unique and unforgettable. One reason for this is that we have visited many of these places ourselves so we know of things to do and places to go that normally aren’t included in most trips.
We have had the wonderful opportunity to visit many unique destinations such as;
China, Russia, Hong Kong, Japan, South Africa, South America, Malaysia, Singapore, Cuba, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Disney Land , Disney World, and Euro Disney, Germany, Austria, England, Scotland, Norway, Swedan, Italy, Israel, Czech Republic, France, Austria, Sicily, most US states, Hawaii and Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Kiribati and the Cook Islands.
Numerous Cruises to Alaska, Caribbean, Coastal Norway, Tahiti, Mediterranean, Trans Atlantic, Amazon, Yangtze and Russian River Cruise, Panama Canal, Mexican Riviera and Eastern and Western seaboard of the United States and Canada.
We have dined with monkeys in the remote jungle of Malaysia, visited the Amazon jungle lodge in a tented tree house, had a remote picnic on a primitive beach on the Amazon River, climbed the tree tops in the Malaysian tropical forest, snorkeled in the south pacific blue waters, swam with dolphins on the edge of the Red Sea, walked the Great Wall, rode the Orient Express, walked with the rich and famous in Monte Carlo and watched women wash clothes on the Yangtze river. Talked to people who have no English skills and we have no Russian skills,
The year 2008 will see us travel to India, Galapagos Islands, Turkey and Greece.
We think we see an Egyptian pyramid in our not to distant future.
